The VII Pärnu Christmas Market will take place on 18–20 December 2026 at Pärnu Independence Square!
The Pärnu Christmas Market is a place to leave the everyday life behind and feel the true joy of Christmas! As the city fills with sparkling lights, music, and cheerful people, the Independence Square transforms into a heart-warming meeting place for one weekend: children can recite poems to Santa Claus, pet ponies, and play under the most beautiful Christmas tree in town. Traditional concerts will fill the entire city with joy, light, and the warmth of being together, bringing the spirit of Christmas closer to every guest. All events are free of charge. Come and experience the magic of Christmas in Pärnu!

The Pärnu Christmas Market will take place for the eighth time this year, bringing three days of Christmas spirit, music, sparkling lights and joyful togetherness to the heart of Pärnu.
The programme features Tanja Mihhailova-Saar, the Pärnu Music School Big Band, Pärnu Handbell Studio and many others.
One of the highlights of the Christmas Market is the Christmas Carol Festival. First held in 2025, the event became a true celebration for the whole community and was recognised as “Pärnu Event of the Year 2025”. On Saturday, 19 December, the heart of the Christmas Market will once again be filled with hundreds of singers and beloved Christmas songs. The audience is warmly invited to sing along and help create a powerful sense of Christmas spirit and togetherness in the heart of Pärnu.
On Friday, Tanja and Pärnu Handbell Studio will delight the audience, while on Sunday, young musicians from the Pärnu Music School Big Band and children from Pärnu School of Arts will give a special Christmas concert. The same evening will also feature a spectacular fire show dedicated to St Thomas’ Day, adding light and magic to the final evening of the Christmas Market.
And, of course, Santa Ärni will be there too, listening to children recite poems and handing out sweets.
